Ethiopia to play Uganda in Football Friendly

The Ethiopian National Team (Walias) will play Uganda in a football friendly match in Addis Ababa on June 3 in preparation of its upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifier with Ghana.

Walias’ new head coach Ashenafi Bekele has submitted a list of players to the Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF), whose names will be revealed soon.

The last international match the Walias played was against the Seychelles nine months ago. 

Ethiopia is in Group F with Ghana, Kenya and Sierra Leone for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
